So I’m super excited, yet sort of sad. Finally after what feels like forever, starting in May, Mirage Studios will continue volume 4 of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series. Don’t get me wrong, Tales of TMNT is good but I want the ongoing story established in volume 4. My only beef is that it will only be online. Though I heard (not too sure if it’s true or not) that they will make actual issues to collect. But they will be exclusive and like $10 an issue. Sort of a cool idea because now it makes the comics more valuable and exciting to have. Not to mention, a shorter wait because there’s no printing process to put it online first. I just feel like it is taking away from the whole comic experience. They won’t be in stores anymore in stacks for kids to grab or for new readers to stumble upon. It has its ups and downs. Your call really. All I know is that right before they stopped writing them, the Shredder came back! Can’t wait!
