Ok, now before I give any movie reviews, I would like to vent a little. I went to the movies twice this past week (I know, I’m awesome) and when I got there I noticed that my matinee price was $8! What gives?! Full price is up to $10! What is this, NYC? I mean the sound most of the time is horrible, I feel like I’ve been punched in one ear and can only hear out of the right side because the left is full of blood. Which wouldn’t be so bad if the screen stopped becoming a split screen making me throw up. Thank God there are all those left over popcorn bags to ralph up my over priced Goobers into. Ok, I’m calm.

Anyway, I saw Vantage Point and I wasn’t too thrilled. I’d say 3 stars outta 5. It had its good parts, but several that just made you out right laugh where there should have been no laughter to be found. It was overall a good flick but I’m still waiting for Matthew Fox, my hero from Lost, to come out with a decent role. Fingers crossed for Speed Racer.

I finally saw Semi-Pro. It is everything you want from a Will Ferrel movie: stupidity. Haha. Just thinking about it makes me giggle like a little girl. It wasn’t his best movie but just about all your favorite actors return in this one and you’ll love the bear. Just wait and see. I do have a feeling it will grow on me like Anchor Man though. Thumbs up.
