This week’s books made a pretty big pile, but there were only a handful that really got me pumped. So let’s get to it!

Captain Britain and MI13 #10: I wrote a longer post on this book here, so check that out (and go by this book.) But let’s take a look at this issue specifically and a return I have been waiting years for…none other than Vlad Tepes himself, Dracula! Don’t laugh. The Dracula of the Marvel U is quite badass, and should be right up there in the list of the worst (best?) baddies Marvel has to offer. The Lord of Vampires is no joking matter. And after a chat with Dr. Doom in the newest issue Captain Britian, he’s poised to start a lot of trouble for our friends across the pond. Go buy it! A+.

Eternals #8: Someone needs to save or cancel this book. Unless it’s been cancelled already. Then nevermind. D.

Patsy Walker: Hellcat #5: Other than this book being a 7/10 on the confusing scale, I completely love it. Kathryn Immonen plot is delightfully “What the hell is this?” and teamed with the artistic stylings of David Lafuente, has made one of the funnest Marvel books in the last few months. Encore! A.

Wolverine: Manifest Destiny #4 ended the series with a bang, but most importantly reintroduced the legendary SONS OF THE TIGER. More of them, yes please matey. B-.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz continues to be gorgeous with #3. And filling. It’s a nice lengthy read. A.

X-Infernus #3 was good, with the high note being the art of Giuseppe Camuncoli. I hope to see this guy go some cool places. B+.

And a surprisingly good treat? The X-Men Origins: Sabretooth Oneshot was a cool look at how Marvel’s biggest sadist got that way. B.

And my favorite book of the week? I’m writing a whole, separate review on that one tomorrow! Stay tuned.
