This movie was a trip. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke both went to extremes with this one. I felt completely caught in the panic and melodrama. Sidney Lumet knows exactly what he’s doing and it shows. This film is an emotional rollercoaster, and yes, I know how stupid that sounds. Plus, Marisa Tomei is naked, like 2 times in this movie. Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead is a must see.
