Okay, Hellboy book 4! Here we go. The Right Hand of Doom is another collection of shorter Hellboy stories much like the previous book, the last couple stories however are a little bigger and touch on topics we’ve been waiting some time to learn about.
I promised you more Hellboy, and more Hellboy ye shall receive. Today I’m on volume 3 of the Hellboy series, The Chained Coffin and Others, the first of numerous collections giving us some of Mike Mignola’s short story adventures of the world’s greatest paranormal detective. And they’re some of my favorites.

You know how I said The Mighty Thor #1-6 was the best comic story Marvel put out this year? Ready for 2nd Place? This year’s Daredevil #1-3 by Mark Waid and Paolo Rivera (with some additional art by Marcos Martin) is post-modern super hero comics with a retro feel. Make sense? I didn’t think so.

Today I’m rereading the first 6 issue arc of The Mighty Thor, the series relaunch intended to tie in with the recent film. And it’s the best story Marvel produced this year.
